Pretty Filthy, The Musical

For our final production of the season, Doctuh Mistuh Productions will present the regional premiere of the docu-musical Pretty Filthy. This will be the first professional production of the musical following its successful off-Broadway run with The Civilians in 2015. Pretty Filthy focuses on the adult film industry in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley, where members of The Civilians interviewed porn actors, directors, and agents for two months. With a book by Bess Wohl (Small Mouth Voices) and score by the late Michael Friedman (Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson), Pretty Filthybrings the human side of the often maligned and misunderstood world of porn with humor and down-to-earth realism.        

Pretty Filthy will stars DMP favorites Stella Frye-Ginsberg, Libby Dees and Tyler Jones, as well as new members of the company: Chelsea Manasseri, Sarah Reynolds, Sebastian Vitale, Sam Kasselman and Andrew DeLaGarza.
