When you hear "Word Perv" what's the first thing that comes to mind? Whatever you're imagining may very well be something that you'll see on Sterling Stage the first Wednesday of each month. Word Perv is a storytelling and variety show that explores the dynamic themes of gender and sexuality. You'll see performers and non-performers alike share their personal experiences on how these universal themes have shaped their lives.

A coming together of veteran Austin performers, producers and directors, The Stage aspires to be proudly producing full seasons of professional theater, including a dynamic mix of dramas, musicals, original works, American classics, Shakespeare and more. The Stage’s concept is rooted in a shared desire to promote our local theater community, compensate performers and crew for their creative efforts, and offer some much-needed relief to the dwindling availability of Austin theater space.
