Through a series of misdiagnoses, two unforgettable stints in the psych ward, an unexpected journey to Guatemala, and a whole lot of questionable choices, Dryer delivers a powerhouse performance that’s as moving as it is sidesplitting.
With fearless honesty and sharp comedic timing, he invites the audience to laugh, cry, and cringe alongside him in a whirlwind of vulnerability and absurdity.

A coming together of veteran Austin performers, producers and directors, The Stage aspires to be proudly producing full seasons of professional theater, including a dynamic mix of dramas, musicals, original works, American classics, Shakespeare and more. The Stage’s concept is rooted in a shared desire to promote our local theater community, compensate performers and crew for their creative efforts, and offer some much-needed relief to the dwindling availability of Austin theater space.
