The Ghosts of Christmas Past
Nov 14 - Dec 15, 2024 - Pioneer Farms
The Archive Theater is mounting a fully staged version of their delightful Victorian Christmas production The Ghosts of Christmas Past. The Merriwether family invites you to their family parlor to celebrate a true Victorian Christmas by telling ghost stories on Christmas Eve for a thrilling, chilling holiday event. Enjoy a family-friendly production with delicious holiday desserts, hot chocolate, spiced cider, live music, a carol sing-along, and deliciously spooky tales. But be on your best behavior because Krampus is coming. Suitable for ages 8 and up because of the gently spooky tales.
The ghostly tales being told will include excepts from - Jerome K. Jerome "Told After Supper," Oscar Wilde's "The Canterville Ghost," F. Marion Crawford's " A Dolls Ghost," Saki's "The Open Window," and many more. Despite the name, absolutely no part of Dickens’ "A Christmas Carol" will be included.
Come early and enjoy the Tavern atmosphere with live music and treats. Doors will open 30 minutes before the show. You can even wear your favorite Christmas or Victorian outfit and be part of the fun. Visit our Christmas Market to find the coolest gifts and art. All proceeds go to support our actors and artists.
