World famous psychological illusionist Edward Rye has made his fortune demonstrating to the world that free will is merely, well, an illusion. But when, desperate for a challenge, he decides to use Claire Fox, an intelligent but fragile staff member at his show, as the subject of his next meta experiment his world is turned upside down and he is forced to question everything he once believed.

About the Playwright:
Ashley Griffin is a Broadway writer/performer whose work has been produced/developed at New World Stages, MTC, Playwrights Horizons, La MaMa and more. She won the WellLife Network Award and a county commendation for her play TRIAL (directed by Lori Petty) which is gearing up for a transfer. She has worked as a Broadway ghostwriter and is a two time bestselling novelist in addition to her work in film and television. Ashley is the first person in history to be nominated for a major award for both playing and directing Hamlet for a theatrical production.
